WHO SHOULD ENROLL
Eligibility:
The following criteria is laid down for admission and enrollment:
(a) Minimum Qualification:
For admission to D.A.E. Course, a candidate must have passed any one of the following examination:
i. Matric Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
ii. Matric Technical from an Institution which is duly registered and recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education.
iii. Intermediate Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, obtaining a minimum of 2nd Division.
(b)Age Limit:
i. Maximum Age for Morning Program:
The candidate should not have attained the age of over 22 years on the specified date of
admission. However, for candidates domiciled in Rural or under developed areas, the upper age
limit is relaxable by a maximum of 2 years.
ii. Maximum Age for Evening Program:
The candidate should not have attained the age of over 35 years as the specified date of admission.
3.2 Ineligibility:
The under mentioned categories of candidates are not eligible for admission to D.A.E. Courses:
(a) Those who have passed Matric (Secondary School Certificate) Examination in “E” Grade
and those who have obtained below 40% marks where the result has been declared in Division.
(b) Those who have failed in any of the following subjects in Matric (Secondary School
Certificate) / Intermediate Examination.
i) Physics ii) Chemistry
iii) Mathematics iv) English
(c) Those who are overage i.e. above 22 years in Morning Program and 35 years in Evening Program on the specified date of admission.
